The 2005 Pinewood Derby was held on Sunday January 28.  The event was the debut of the new aluminum 40 foot track.  The new track proved to be lightning fast – so fast that some cars shot right off the end.  We also tried out a new race format where the first round is a time trial, and then the top six cars do a race-off.

The January Pack meeting was full of fun. In addition to skits about futile attempts at ice fishing and fierce pirate battles, there was some creative winter style cooking and Minnesota style relay racing.
