Fall Outing at Murphy's Landing - October 3

We had a great time exploring military history at Murphy's landing.    Here are members of the regiment under the command of Colonel Anderson pictures with a bunch of new recruits from Pack 479.

  

 
   

 

Webelos Experience - October 9-10

Nearly all the Webelos gathered at the bi-annual Webelos Experience at Stearns Scout Camp.  Not only did they get to camp and cook, but they found time to joust, play games and earn numerous Webelos Activity Pins.  Saturday night concluded with an outdoor rock concert.  

 
   

 

Service Project - Minnesota Wildlife Refuge - October 17

 

A good number of scouts came out in the cold to help harvest and plant Indian grass and Turkey feet grass.  We also learned about conservation and the roll the National Wildlife system plays throughout the United States.  Of course, we finished up with a snack of trail mix and hot chocolate.
