• Secure field several months in advance.

• Ensure rocket launcher is in working order.

• Coordinate setup, breakdown, and the actual launch, directing Rocket Launch volunteers.

• Work with Pack 497 on event coordination, refreshments, and tent setup.

• Purchase "engines" in advance of event.

• Ensure range safety during the event.

• Bring plastic bags for trash pick up after event.
